Central Paws Dog Rescue

We strive to place our dogs, in loving, responsible, and committed permanent homes.  We strictly follow a profound adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches, in order to create life-long bonds.  We also assist families however we can to keep dogs in loving homes including training and providing spay / neuter surgeries when we can.

About Us

About Our Rescue

We are a non-profit, pro-life, volunteer-run dog rescue.  We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement.

Animals in our care receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment and are placed into nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes.

We strive to work with shelters and other rescues to develop a network of supporters and volunteers to create a better world for homeless pets.

What We Do

Rescuing Dogs

A love of dogs drives us to work with a network of other rescues and communities to bring homeless and injured pets into care.

Spay & Neuter

Manitoba has a dog overpopulation problem and we refuse to contribute to it. For this reason, all of the dogs that come into care are spayed/neutered.

Finding A Home

Finding the right fit for our dogs and adopters is paramount to keeping dogs in their homes. We take great care to ensure our dogs find their best match and go through extensive vetting of all applicants to ensure such.
