Available Adoptables

MARLIN

Sex: Male
Approx D.O.B: Jan 2017
Breed: Husky mix

Hello world! We’d like to introduce you to Marlin. This is truly your lucky day, because Marlin is the ‘whole package’! He checks the boxes – like a BOSS!.

Smart? CHECK! He knows sit, down, stay and shake. There’s no limit to how far you could go with training him! He absolutely loves following commands and pleasing his people. When he accomplishes a task he’s so proud of himself he doesn’t even need treats… just attention and love. He thrives on mental and physical stimulation so will need a family who is committed to continuing his education and keeping him tired.

Cuddly? CHECK! He’s a sweet, affectionate love-bug who’s happy to give you all the love he has. He’s particularly nervous around new men he meets (he will give a low growl when he’s unsure) but with a proper intro he’ll warm up and then he’s fine and wants love.

Energetic? CHECK, CHECK and CHECK!! Marlin is a Husky mix… he has energy to burn and will keep you moving – in all weather. He’ll make an amazing running partner or maybe take up skijoring with him during winter.

Marlin is an amazing boy, but isn’t perfect (who is?). He would do best in a home without another dog as introductions need to be very careful or he will react negatively. Cats and kids are fine, he likes them all. What a character! He knows his commands very well and his adopter will need to commit to following thru with them. If allowed, Marlin will run the house… and you don’t want that!

Marlin’s $375 adoption fee includes:

Spay / Neuter with tattoo

Misty

Sex: Female
Approx D.O.B: Feb 24, 2011
Breed: Labrador mix

When Misty came to us we weren’t sure she’d survive. She had Pyometra (horrific uterus infection), heartworm, gunshot wounds and a broken leg. Luckily her will to live and love far outweighed her medical issues and she’s now thriving and looking for her furever home! Love can do amazing things! Here’s what her foster mum has to say:

“Misty has came such a long way from when she first came into rescue. She has gained weight and learned that not all meals need to be eaten immediately. She has learned that treats generally come from a noisy plastic bag, so be ready for her to flash her fabulous smile whenever you open a wrapper. She tolerates her other foster buddies but prefers to have people company only. Misty loves getting pets and belly rubs. She also loves being brushed. She likes chewing on bones but hasn’t figured out “playing”. She likes car rides and going places as they usually end with treats and lots of ear rubs. She has been to the groomer a couple times to get her nails trimmed and has been a real good girl. She likes a quiet home where she can lounge and rest. She enjoys being outside and laying in the sunshine. She thinks she can still chase rabbits but its best if she doesn’t. She walks on a leash and has never had an accident in the house. Misty has a limp and some days she is a little more achy than others, so being aware of this and respecting her space is important. Misty will do best in a quiet stable home with her very own people. In return you will get a friend for life and a true companion that loves forever.”

Misty’s $375 adoption fee includes:

Spay / Neuter with tattoo
3 Distemper / Parvo vaccines
Rabies vaccine
All required vetting
